Janine Mudge
Janine is a yarn addict and crochet tutor who believes creativity grows through curiosity, experimentation and a willingness to make wonderfully wonky mistakes.
She's a fantasy and pop-culture nerd with an overflowing yarn stash, more unfinished projects than is probably healthy, and a tendency to look at just about anything and ask, "How could I crochet that?" More than ten years after picking up her first hook, she's still asking.
In class, Janine focuses on teaching the building blocks of crochet rather than simply following patterns. Students learn how stitches work, how shapes are formed, and how to experiment, adapt and problem-solve with confidence. Her classes are patient, playful and genuinely welcoming, encouraging every young maker to explore their own ideas, embrace the occasional wonky stitch, and discover that;
Progress beats perfection. Every. Single. Time.
