Redland Coast Art Society Art Gallery and Studio is open for viewing by the public every 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 10am to 3pm.
We are displaying work by local artists - most of whom are members of our wonderful art society. The artwork on display is priced very sensibly.
Chat with our artists and tutors, wander around the Gallery and Studio at your leisure or help yourself to a beverage from our kitchen. We would love to see you!

Requirements for Exhibition of Artworks
At RCAS, we hold regular exhibitions with most items for sale. To ensure RCAS presents all artworks to a professional standard, exhibitors are required to meet the following criteria:
Requirements:
Works must be an original work of the exhibiting artist.
Artwork must be new to RCAS and not previously exhibited in any of our shows.
All artwork must be accompanied by an accurately completed entry form and with the correct entry fee which may be paid direct to RCAS Bank account or cash to a member of the management team.
Artist will be asked to consent to the use of images of their artwork in RCAS promotional materials, including the website or social media. Unless written notifice is provided to opt out, consent will be assumed by default.
Work must be delivered to the RCAS gallery at least seven days prior to the exhibition opening. Late entries will only be accepted at the discretion of the Gallery Coordinator.
The gallery coordinator has the right to accept or deny entry to any works based on the above criteria or for any other reason at their sole discretion.
Drawings, two-dimensional works and Paintings using various media.
Painted surfaces must be completely dry.
Loose surfaces such as Charcoal, Pastel or chalk should be protected by an appropriate fixative and ideally mounted in a frame behind Perspex or Glass.
Framed artwork must be properly mounted and backed with paper or board.
An adhesive label with the artist’s name, the name of the artwork, the media and the price, if for sale, must be correctly identified.
D-Rings of the appropriate size must be fixed for hanging purposes. Wire or a strong string to be attached between each D-Ring. The gallery will perform this task for you at a cost of $5 per artwork.
Instructions for fixing D rings:
Measure a point to the apex of the D-Ring.
For large D-Rings 70mm
For small D-Rings 40mm
Ensure the D-Rings are firmly fixed in place with screws.
Drill a pilot hole in the frame at the marked position to avoid splitting the frame.
Three-Dimensional Works; Sculptures, Ceramics, Various hanging installations etc.
Artworks must be of a reasonable size. Maximum 920mm x 1220 mm. Any submitted artwork larger than the above will be only accepted at the discretion of the gallery coordinator.
A stable support base should be provided if appropriate.
The artist maybe required to install their artwork under the supervision of the Gallery Coordinator.
The gallery staff may decline to help with moving or lifting heavy pieces of artwork.

No responsibility will be accepted for accidental damage or theft of artwork held on the RCAS property.
